Many subjects are hard to learn because they aren't accessible or relevant in our everyday experience. Computers and simple programming languages can be a powerful means of doing so. Beyond providing inroads to certain subjects, programming can also be a tool to learn how to learn more effectively.
One of my all time favorite books. Papert's fascination with better ways to learn deeply resonates with me.
